Don Muncy Obituary

Don Muncy, 75, of Warfield, KY passed away April 2, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Don was born March 18, 1943 in Pike County to the late Charlie and Hattie Farris Muncy. He was a self employed logger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Robert Muncy, Ernest Muncy, Louie Muncy, Franklin Muncy, Drucilla Stanley, Edith Muncy, May Ray and Ethel Maynard. Survivors include his ex-wife and long time friend, Patsy P. Muncy; sons Richard Muncy and Ronnie Muncy; step son Justin Michael Maynard; grandchildren Heath Muncy and Ericka Marie Muncy; great grandchild Maddox McIntyre; siblings Leroy Muncy and Emogene Dillanger; and several nieces and nephews, including his special niece in the ICU at PMC Kelli Dorton. As were Don's wishes, he will be cremated and there will not be a memorial service. Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Muncy.
