Gloria Tackett Obituary

Gloria Jean Crank Tackett, 90, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Heartland Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Gloria was born October 6, 1926 in Fallsburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Eugene and Victoria May Roberts Crank. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Louisa United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Tackett; sisters, Florence, Gertrude and Helen; brothers, William "Bill" and Sims.
Survivors include, two sons, James A. (Beth) Tackett of Lexington, Ky.; Timothy A. (Tammy) Tackett of Fallsburg, Ky.; grandchildren, Andrea Tackett, Desirae Huff, Bowen Tackett, Max Tackett and Kaitlin Riner; 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, September 1, 2017 at Louisa United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Smith and Bro. Jody Vansickle officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Ky. Visitation will be held 6:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Young Funeral Home.
