John Chaffin Obituary

John C. Chaffin, 76, of Louisa, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home. John was born December 20, 1941 to the late Bill and Flossie Kitchen Chaffin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Billie Jean Ewers. Survivors include his wife Janice Chaffin, sister Dottie Copley, brother Larry Chaffin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for John will be Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Vinny Vanhoose and Roger Wireman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Bill Lemaster, John Osborn, Tom Copley, Ron Miller, Lewis Pack, Tim Hammond, Bo Davis, Buck Blankenship and Honorary Pall Bearer George Preston. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Chaffin.
