Eli Anthony Nash Jacques passed away at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on Monday March 25th, 2024 in the arms of his mother and father. Born February 9th, 2024, he was the son of Pierre Ernst and Tayler (Lowe) Jacques. Eli enjoyed being held by mommy when he was able, having tastes of milk, and meeting his daddy for the first time. He fought so hard through many challenges in his short time with us and we will cherish every moment he was able to give us. Eli means “my God” in Hebrew, on the cross Jesus said, “Elí, Elí, lemá sabachtháni?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46. We cry out to God in our grief and pain and he comforts us with the certainty that Ethan and Eli are in His presence and we will be reunited.
Eli was preceded in death by his twin Ethan and is survived by his older brother Ezra; His paternal grandparents Pierre Antoine and Emmanise Jacques of Saint Marc, Haiti; maternal grandparents Lloyd Randal "Randy" Lowe of Catlettsburg, KY and Bobbie (Roger) Crace of Winchester, KY.
He was so very loved by his many aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and church family.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 29, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Kavanaugh Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Friday, March 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM until time of service at Kavanaugh Chapel Church.
