Bernice Burchett Obituary
Bernice Burchett, 89, of Lowmansville, KY. passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Mountain Manor in Paintsville, KY. She was born February 21, 1924 in Cattlesburg, KY. a daughter of the late Riley Goble and Goldie Wiley Spillman She was a homemaker and a member of the Louisa Freewill Bapt. Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Burchett, daughter, Jeanie Burchett, sons; Lloyd Burchett, Floyd R. Burchett, and Gilbert Everett Burchett.
Survivors include four daughters; Alberta Ann Gee of Olivehill, KY., Ruth Elizabeth McKinney of Blaine, KY., Barbara Kay Green of Lowmansville, KY., and Edith Marion Hogston of Blaine, KY., three sons; Arthur Delbert Burchett of Richmond, Ohio, Paul Emerson Burchett of Sciotoville, Ohio, and Calvin Wayne Burchett of Fallsburg, KY., 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Shriners of Lexington, KY. Funeral services will be conduct Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1pm at the Georges Creek United Bapt. Church will Paul Castle officiating. Burial will be in the Fannin-Burchett Cemetery at Morgans Creek,KY. Visitation will be 5-9 on Wednesday at the Young Funeral Home.
