Dwight David Salyer

Dwight D. Salyer, 65, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2019. Dwight was born January 21, 1954 in Louisa, KY to the late Cornell and Mary (Gussler) Salyer. Dwight graduated from Louisa High School and attended Isaac Park Church. He loved to fish and hunt. Dwight also enjoyed gardening and spent much of his free time as a beekeeper. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Alisha Salyer and his siblings Darrell Salyer and Debbie Young. 

Survivors include his loving wife of over 44 years Jennie Salyer; children Nathan (Crystal) Salyer and Shannon (Melissa) Salyer; grandchildren Emma Salyer, Owen Salyer, Isabelle Salyer, and Elijah Salyer; and siblings Pat Peters, Carol Borders, Barb Sparks, George Salyer, Shirley Hogston, Tony Salyer, Dale Salyer, and Christy VanHorn. 

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 1, 2019 at Noon at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Jordan and Brother Todd Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Hood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
