Helen Thompson

Helen Thompson, 83, of Obetz, OH, formerly of Fort Gay, WV, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Scioto Community Nursing Home in Columbus, OH. Helen was born January 20, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Annie Mullins. She was a homemaker who lovingly tended to her family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Thompson and her sisters Lizzie Watts and Mildred Dean. 

Survivors include her children Virginia Jarrell, James (Evanna) Thompson, Jerry (Juanita) Thompson, Willis Thompson, Nora (Roy) Thompson, and Linda Smith; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and her brothers Jack Mullins and Marion Mullins. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery on Vinson Branch.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
