Joyce (Lycan) West

Joyce West, 75, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 2,2018 at the Jordan Center. Joyce was born November 15, 1942 to Taylor and Virginia (Christian) Lycan. She was preceded in death by her brother Dale Lycan. 

Survivors include her children Bobby (Bridget) James and Crystal West; grandchildren Heather (Steven) Wilburn, Shane (Paige) James, and Tori (Greg) Powers; great grandchildren Peyton Wilburn, Emalie Wilburn, Lakyn Wilburn, Colton Wilburn, Kaylee Wilburn, Rylee James, Ava James, Brantley Powers, and Avery Powers; brother Everett Lycan, sisters in law Judy Lycan and Geraldine Lycan, and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lycan Cemetery in Fort Gay, WV. Friends may visit the family Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home.
