Karen Lee (Edwards) Robertson

Karen L. Robertson,73, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Karen was born October 10, 1944 in Fort Gay, WV  to the late George and Mary Alice Edwards Jr. Karen was known for her love of baking. She owned Karen's Cakes and worked in the Foodland Bakery. Mrs. Robertson had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Tomahawk Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Robertson and her sister Margaret Ann Waggoner. Survivors include her daughters LeeAnn (Jim) Howard and Annette (John) Gaskins; grandchildren Bobbi Howard, Jake (Megan) Gaskins, and Katie (Eric) McGinnis; great granddaughter Gracie McGinnis; and sister Mary Lynn Smith. 

Visitation for Ms. Robertson will be Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Gay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the Tomahawk Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Russell Ayscue, 30 Daniel Road, Tomahawk, KY 41262.
