Watson Ray Maynard, Jr

Mr. Watson Ray Maynard, Jr., 69, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. Watson was born June 13, 1949 in Martin County to the late Watson Ray and Nevada Rose Maynard. He was a retired Coal Miner. 

Surviving are his wife Thelma Jean Maynard, son Philip Maynard and special caregivers Frelon "Bug and Remah Sparks, Mary Pack, William "Punk" Pack, and Phyllis Preece. 

The family would like to thank Community Hospice, Three Rivers Medical Center Home Health, Kings Daughters Medical Center Home Health, DaVita Dialysis, JJ Jordan Center and the EMT's with Net Care Ambulance Service for all their help caring for Watson while he was sick. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Frelon Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Preece Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. 

 Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Maynard.
