Dallas Adkins Obituary
Dallas Luther Adkins "DA", 88, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at The Jordan Center in Louisa, Ky. Dallas was born November 30, 1928 in Lawrence County Kentucky, son of the late George Franklin and Ollie L. Hewlett Adkins.
Dallas retired after many years of service as an electrician for the Louisa Carpet Mill, he enjoyed going fishing after his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ruth Adkins who passed away in 2013, in addition to his three children, Eddie Adkins, Jody Adkins and Sandy Adkins.
Survivors include, three sons, Archie (Vicki) Adkins of Zelda, Ky.; Freddie Adkins of Louisa, Ky.; Steve Adkins of Louisa, Ky.; Jean (Eddie) Christian of Louisa, Ky.; Doris (Paul) Burchett of Louisa, Ky.; 6 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Pinehill Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Workman officiating.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm til 2:00 pm Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Young Funeral Home.
