Emery Marcum Obituary

Emery Marcum, 91, of Ft. Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home. Mr. Marcum was born October 20, 1926 in Crum, WV to the late Harlan and Eda Marcum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ramona Marcum and siblings Bertha Salmons, Nannie Krohn, Maxine Sterner, Charles Marcum, Herman Marcum, Thurman Marcum, Johnny Marcum, Kim Marcum, Homer Marcum, Laura Belle Marcum, Franklin Marcum, and Robert Marcum. Survivors include his brother James Marcum and sister Dixie Marcum and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dick Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynch Cemetery in Ft. Gay. Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Marcum.
