Billie Ellis Obituary

Billie Jean Ellis, 75, of Prichard, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Billie Jean was born October 21, 1948 in Kenova, WV to the late Bill and Mildred Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Ellis; son David Ellis; and stepfather Amos Walker. 

Billie Jean was a faithful, loving Christian woman. She was a member of Upper Tabors Creek and Little Hurricane Free Will Baptist Church. Billie Jean was a retired teacher's aide with Southwest Community Action Council. 

Surviving are her children Dale (Dawn) Ellis and Douglas Ellis; grandchildren Keith Willman, Natalie Ellis, Zach Ellis, William (Stephanie) Ellis, David (Kelsey) Ellis, Katie (Matt) Robertson, and Hailie Ellis; great grandchildren Bella Ellis, Bryson Robertson, Mahayla Ellis, Dawson Ellis, and one on the way; brother Phillip Walker; and sister Rhonda Zook. 

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Little Hurricane Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Virgil Pack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ellis Cemetery.
