Carol Jean (Kitts) Endicott

On October 5, 2021, Carol Jean Endicott, of Fort Gay, WV passed away peacefully into God’s graces. Carol was born on March 3, 1949 in Fort Gay, WV a town she loved and never left. A warrior throughout life, she was a wonderful 72 years old.

She was predeceased by her father William Jennings Kitts and mother Clara Kitts, and her loving husband of many years James Paul Endicott. She is survived by many loving individuals, including her sons James Michael Endicott (Sandy), of Fort Gay WV, Paul David Endicott (Leslie) of Columbus, OH, sister Peggy Ann Holland (Sherman), of Fort Gay, WV, grandchildren Kimberly Endicott, Samantha Kay Pertee (Adam), Kasandra Dawn Thompson, her great grandchildren, Marley James Swayne, Logan Ryan Pertee and Brooklyn Ray Pertee, a special friend Gloria Dean, of Fort Gay, WV along with many other devotedly loved family members and friends.

Carol was a fiercely dedicated mother to all her children, and grandchildren raising them all to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Carol, a value she instilled in all those around her. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill and we are deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful woman.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home with Brother Mack Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Kitts Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.
