Carol Jean (Fraley) Spencer

Carol Jean Spencer, 80, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Carol was born July 22, 1940 in Lawrence County to the late H.B. and Maggie Mae (May) Fraley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ray Spencer; son Jimmie Ray Spencer; siblings Linda Wright, Lois Moore, Marcie Artrip, and Gerald Fraley and longtime companion Ronald Moore. 

Survivors include her grandchildren Kenneth Spencer, Jimmie Spencer, Jr., Maggie Summers, Samantha Nelson, Laura Defoe, and William Spencer; 17 great grandchildren; and siblings Roger Fraley, Freddie May, Marie Ross, Gloria Hogston, and Bobbie Meek. 

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fraley Cemetery on Hickory Hill. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
