Evelyn Nadine (Rowe) Meek
Obituary
Evelyn Nadine Meek, 84, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2023. Nadine was born May 29, 1939 in Tadpole to the late Arnum and Clestina Rowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Buddy L. Meek.
Nadine was a retired library clerk. She attended First Methodist Church and was a member of the Gallup Homemakers, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children Gregory (Dephnia "Debbie") Meek and David Meek; grandchildren Buddy Logan Meek, Sarah Nadine (Ronnie) Jude, and Chad Ryan Meek; great grandchildren AJ Jude and Stacy Jude; and siblings Wilma Vanhorn and Harold Rowe.
Funeral services for Mrs. Meek will be conducted Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Meek Cemetery in Boons Camp, KY. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.
