Franklin S. Snow

Franklin S. Snow, 80, of Genoa, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021. Frank was born May 9, 1941 in Wayne County, WV to the late John Henry and Mary Ellen (Thompson) Snow. He was preceded in death by the loved of his life Dorseen Griffie Snow. They married on September 11, 1964.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 brothers in law. 

Survivors include his children Adena Snow of Wayne, WV, Emery Snow of Fort Gay, WV, Anna (Johnny) Williamson of Webb, WV, and Tammy (Doug) Beeney of Genoa, WV; grandchildren Charles (Jessica) Rutan, Steven (Sadie) Clabaugh, Eric (Harliee) Nease, Kayla (Jackie) Ratliff, and Karla (CJ) Thompson; great grandchildren Nikkia, CJ, Jackson, Granger, Saylor and one on the way; brothers Jay Snow and Ralph Snow; sisters Peggy Curnutte and Maggie Snow; special family Jennifer and Jim Nelson, Melanie (Donald) Picklesimer, Addi, Jonah, Sue, Christy Rutan, and special friend Cathy Alberty. 

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mac Ray Cyrus and Col. Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Cemetery in Genoa. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
