Fred Allen Dean

Fred A. Dean, 72, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center. Fred was born November 17, 1948 to the late Frank and Georgia Marie Dean. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Glenn Franklin Dean. 

Fred was a Christian for 43 years. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a member of the Prichard Free Will Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife Amy Dean; son Fred Daniel Dean of Fort Gay, son Clarence Eugene Dean of Fort Gay, and daughter Susan Marie Hall of Louisa; brothers Ernest Dean and Thomas Dean; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; special friends Claud Marcum, Merill Whipkey, and Chuck Robertson. 

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ellis Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Dean Cemetery in Fort Gay. Friends may visit the family on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
