George Newsome Obituary

George Brian Newsome, 47, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Brian was born August 3, 1972 in Ashland, KY to the late Donald and Phyllis Jean Rickman Newsome. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Brian Christopher Newsome and brothers Donald Lee Newsome, John William Newsome and Thomas Edward Newsome.

Survivors include his daughter Elizabeth Jean "E.J." Newsome; grandson Christopher James; sister Mary Katherine Newsome Clay; brother Jeffrey Dean Newsome (Bev); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.
