Linda Gail (Carter) Richards

Linda Gail (Carter) Richards, 69, of Catlettsburg, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, OH. Linda was born May 24, 1952 in Louisa, KY to the late Earl and Betty (Guyer) Carter. 

Linda graduated college and became a nurse and a home health aide. She was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed camping, traveling, helping others and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband Larry Richards; children Danny C. Kelley Jr., Patrick C. Kelley (Patricia Kelley), Wendy Renee Kelley, and Curtis Carter; step children Larry Thomas, Candy Lee, and Evelyn Kay Richards; 15 grandchildren including Patrick Tylor Kelley, Danny Keith Kelley, Brayden Michael Kelley, Andrew Ryan Kelley, Ella Marie Kelley, and Ashton Kelley; 13 great grandchildren including Jayce Kelley, London Kelley, Amelia Kelley, and Skylar Kelley; and brothers and sisters Wanda Dawson, Carol Carter, Pauletta Carter Taylor, Sharron Carter, Russell Carter, and Margaret Carter

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Monday, October 25, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
