Linda Jewel (Frasher) Rose

Linda Jewel (Frasher) Rose, loving Mom and Mawmaw, 79, of Fort Gay, WV passed away peacefully August 9, 2021.  She was Born August 6, 1942, in Fort Gay, WV to the late Lucian and Elizabeth (Bartram) Frasher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Rose, brother Randy Frasher and brother-in-law David Marcum.

She is survived by her seven children, Karen Rose of Fort Gay, WV, William (Mickey) Rose of Louisa, KY, Gary (Mandy) Rose of Fort Gay, WV, Steven (Suzanne) Rose of Fort Gay, WV, Krista Merritt of Wayne, WV (special son in law Chris), Timothy (Kim) Rose of Fort Gay, WV, Libby (Tim) McCoy of Paintsville, KY. She was the most loving Mawmaw to her grandbabies, Hannah (Kyle) Stephens, Cody (Abbie) Rose, Emily Rose, Bella Casdorph, Bailey Casdorph, Aaron Rose (Kinly), Austin Rose, Miah Rose, Isaiah Rose, Silas Rose, Joshua Merritt, Savannah McCoy, Matthew (Kelsey) McCoy, Markus McCoy, Brooklyn McCoy and Great Mawmaw to Autumn Stephens, Benjamin Stephens, Hadley Rose (and her Mom Shelby), Presley Rose, Kaden McCoy, Maymee Rose and Tayte Rose due in October; a very special sister that meant to the world to her, Karen Marcum of Adrian, MI. and sister in law Betty Frasher of Fort Gay, WV; along with many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She loved her babies with all her heart, but above that she loved the Lord, and we know without a doubt that when she closed her eyes on Earth, she opened them in Heaven. “She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her” Proverbs 3:15

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Cody Rose, Timothy Rose and Tim McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Frasher Cemetery, Fort Gay, WV. Friends may call Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Young Funeral Home.
