Louie Alvin Marcum

Louie A. Marcum, 56, of Fort Gay, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Louie was born February 3, 1965 in Mansfield, OH to Aaron and Kizzie (Thompson) Marcum. 

Louie was preceded in death by his father Aaron Marcum and grandparents Pete and Edna Thompson and Richard and Celia Marcum. 

Survivors include his mother Kizzie Marcum; sisters Bonnie Sue Finley and Alice Faye Marcum; nephews Brian Preston Marcum, Aaron Curtis Marcum, and Johnathan Finley; great nephew Jordan Allen Noah Finley; and cousins Lorna Osborne, Louis (Susan) Pack and many cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jim Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery at Vinson Branch. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.
