Mary Ellen (Burchette) Litton

Mary Ellen (Burchette) Litton, 67, of Louisa, KY passed away November 25, 2021 at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, KY. Mrs. Litton was born April 8, 1954 to the late Eugene and Ernestine (Newsome) Burchette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Thelma See, William "Bill" Burchette, Steve Burchette, and Brenda Burchette.

She is survived by her children Charles (Suzi) Roberts, Marc (Christina) Roberts, and Michael (Jolene) Perkins; grandchildren Carson Roberts, Jodi Perkins, Patrick Roberts, and Tyler Roberts; and siblings Francis Wright and Ben Burchette.

Mary worked in the lumber trade all of her life. She was a businesswoman who was paramount in the buying and selling of timber. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Burchette Cemetery on Diamond Ridge. Friends may visit the family Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
