Nevoynne (Bowen) Workman

Nevoynne Workman, 82, of Marion, Ohio formerly of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Nevoynne was born April 11, 1939 in Kentucky to the late Burl and Olive Bowen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Workman and her siblings Darlene Ratliff, Naomi Friend, Betty Garrett, Windell Bowen, and Glen Bowen. 

Nevonnye, known by Nev or Nevie, was loved and adored by many. Nev was a member of Louisa Church of God and was a member of the church choir. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, singing and spending time with family. She was an excellent baker & cake decorator, and spent many years on bowling leagues.

Survivors include her children Michael (Connie) Workman, Connie Workman, Robert (Pam) Workman, Bruce Workman; daughter in law Karen Workman; grandchildren Jeremiah, Jake, Jeffrey, Mikayla, Kristopher, Miranda, Aaryn, Chase, Jennifer and Jessica; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Jewel Nicely and Vesti Dennison; and many beloved nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Workman Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
