Phyllis Ann (Mills) Powell

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Mills Powell, 72, of Richmond, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born in Delbarton, WV on October 19, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Kellie Mills and Della Music Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight sisters and two brothers. She was a hairdresser for 22 years, a caregiver for 7 years, a Christian writer, and in 2003 became a minister. 

Survivors include her husband Earl J. Powell of Richmond, KY; son Jimmy Wayne Robinson and his wife Debbie; three grandsons Justin Robinson and his wife Ashley, John Robinson, Tyler Croley, Stephanie Kelly and husband Aaron, and Michael Croley and his wife Ashley; great granddaughter Anna Grace Robinson and 7 additional great grandchildren; sister Myrtle Prince; 44 nieces and nephews; a host of great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives to mourn her passing. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery on East Fork. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 11:00 until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
