Rondel Johnson

Rondel Johnson, 79, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022. Rondel was born December 31, 1942 in Inez, KY to the late Matt and Dixie (Fitch) Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy (Vicars) Johnson; grandchildren Stephanie Henry and Jacob Fitch; brothers James (Irene) Johnson, Charles (Lora) Johnson, Paul Johnson, Bradley Johnson, and Bennie Joe Johnson; sister Phyllis (Ken) Rose; and brothers in law George Preston, Liss Reed, and Jimmy Maynard. 

Rondel was a Christian and recently rededicated his life to the Lord. He loved his family and treated every one with love and kindness. 

Survivors include his wife Debra Holstein Johnson; children Rondel (Shelly) Johnson, Kristie (Earl) Daniel, Nicole (Jim) Fitch, and Amy (Billy) Mitchell; sisters Nellie Ruth Preston, Ova Maynard, Bonnie (Gary) Adkins, and Maggie (Billy) Preece; sisters in law Zelda Johnson, Norma Jean Johnson, and Glenda Johnson; grandchildren Whitney (Houston) Bragg, Cody (Jessica) Johnson, Rondel (Megan) Johnson, Jennifer (Brandon) Jude, Hannah Fitch, Eli Fitch, Brooke Heilmann, Alex Carney, Kenneth (Brandy) Daniel, and Bobby (Keisha) Daniel; sixteen great grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of family and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnathan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Richardson. Friends may visit the family Saturday, February 19, 2022 after 4:00 PM and Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
