Shirley Ann (Hodges) Wheeler

Shirley Ann Wheeler, 75, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her home. She was born November 15, 1947 in Atlanta, GA to the late Walter and Elaine (Browning) Hodges. 

Shirley was an avid quilter and loved to crochet. Many people have been gifted one of her afghans, including many newborn babies and nursing home residents. She loved to craft and could make something beautiful out of every thing she touched. She was also a very talented piano player. 

She attended Cordell Free Will Baptist Church in Blaine. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Carole Spillane. Survivors include her husband Lowell Wheeler; children Carole Dawn Fallon and Heather Lynn Arnold; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Castle Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
