Virginia Evelyn (Hayes) Adams

Virginia Evelyn Hayes Adams was born to Myrtle Gracie Stambaugh Hayes and Carl Hayes of Lawrence County, Kentucky on July 6, 1929.

She married Lewis Bromley Adams, also of Lawrence County, on December 7, 1946.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1994, and by her son, Ronald Regan Adams, in 2020. She is survived by her two daughters: Judy Carolyn Adams Compton (Denver Gordon Compton) of Carpinteria, California and Janet Pauline Adams of Columbus, Ohio.

She is also survived by two granddaughters: Jennifer Grace Casteen of Columbus, Ohio, and Riley Kathryn Adams of Walled Lake, Michigan.

Surviving Virginia additionally are a sister, Bonnie Sue Hayes of Ashland, Kentucky, and a brother, Willie Gene Hayes, Sr. of Lawrence County, Kentucky, along with many other loved ones that include nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home. Graveside services in the Willie Hayes Cemetery will be on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Hayes officiating.

Virginia Evelyn had been a resident of Columbus, Ohio since 1952. May she rest in peace.
